My dad died 4 years ago and  jesus highway to heaven shirt! Right after the funeral, I snagged all his plaid button down shirts (10 of them!) and have spent the last few weeks turning them into a quilt for my mother. I had hoped to do it sooner, but a lot of life happened in the interim and it was just too painful for me to work on it for a while. But I’m finishing up the binding this week and it will be ready by Christmas. I’m so excited (and terrified) to give it to her.
